^that's what I am buying. 1987 Chevy Cavalier Z24. 2.8 V6, automatic... Has rare factory mesh wheels and factory lip spoiler. Needs head gaskets replaced, a power steering leak fixed, and a new top. What it'll get is, eventually a 3.1 v6 with a 5spd muncie transmission, restored body, 16X8 or 15X8 002's in red, flat white paint, red pin stripping, red z24 badges (to replace the baby blue ones), restored interior, and bagged. But finding exterior parts for this is gonna be a pain in my ass. Nobody makes OEM replacement panels anymore. So it's all gonna have to be scrap yards, or sheet metal work. Which isn't gonna be cheap. Probably will need new rockers, i know it needs new fenders, and doors (gonna be tuff to find as well with it being a vert), as well as the rear 1/4"s. But at least those can be fabbed with metal. I was also thinking I could do a Boso style, American car... It does have the original boxyness from the factory, and all it'd need is some big pipes, uber wide wheels, flares, and a sweet nose piece. But im not likely to do that with this one... Maybe if I buy another gen1 down the road, i'll make a Boso american car. lol
